Pros
You make a difference in a student's life. Pima cares about employees and their students. You are an employee-owner and what you say is listened to by administrators.
Cons
I have no cons to write about at this time.
Thank you for submitting a review. We take great pride in our student-centered environment. A quote from a previous PMI CEO, "The only real measuring stick of a school's success is the achievement of its students."

RecommendsPositive OutlookApproves of CEOI have been working at Pima Medical Institute part-time for more than 5 years
Pros
They provide an excellent compensation "package". Potential employees should really take time to understand the full benefit package and not just the stated hourly rate. The HR department is excellent and upper management is very pro-employee. This family-style, employee-focused culture has remained steady since the early days of PMI. The founders of this company established this culture. The instructors I interact with in other departments are talented professionals who work very hard for their students.
Cons
This is not really a con, but be prepared to work hard in a different kind of way if you are used to working in a clinical environment. This is not an auto-pilot kind of job. Even seasoned instructors have to keep learning, growing and improving. It's constant. There's no other option if your intent is to be of service to our students.

Pros
I strongly feel that the benefits and salary are competitive in the field. The company's professional attitude and individuals are some of the best I've worked for in my professional career. The company culture is unique in an enjoyable way. My contribution to enhancing a better organization is well received.
Cons
In thinking about a "con," I don't have any. Working in the online environment is hard work. I'm still learning the art of 'work-life' balance.
