Development is taken seriously from day one — personal development budget on top of a separate team skills budget, with regular company-led conversations around both personal and professional growth. Regular access to leadership who are clear and consistent about communicating goals and keeping everyone in the loop on what's happening across the business. The product team model is built around ownership, not fragmented tickets — you take on an area and nurture it over time, which makes the work feel much more meaningful. Team touchpoints are useful and well-calibrated — enough to stay connected and get feedback, not so many that you're drowning in meetings.
Cons
Nothing significant at this point, honestly... There's been a settling-in period following a recent restructure of the product team — processes and responsibilities are still taking shape after the team roughly doubled in size and was reorganised. That said, individuals are given real agency in shaping how things evolve, so it's been a net positive overall!
