Doesn't RecommendI worked at Pinsent Masons full-time for more than 5 years
Pros
Varied and interesting portfolio of work.
Cons
The department I worked in had a toxic and competitive culture - which was driven top down and replicated by eager few earners trying to please senior staff - that’s not indicative of the firm as I knew others in different departments who had much better teams. The hours were long and unsociable. Macho culture - particularly from women. A team with a revolving door of junior lawyers.

Doesn't RecommendPositive OutlookApproves of CEOI worked at Pinsent Masons full-time for more than a year
Pros
Progressive firm, forward thinking & good quality of work
Cons
I found my face didn’t fit, therefore hard to progress & make a name for myself. My supervisor a senior associate was difficult to work with & created issues daily. When addressed with management they made it a performance issue & placed me on performance review. I was a complete emotional wreck when I left.
