Don't believe the hype

Pros

Free beer is obviously a big plus in working here but there are no other benefits that come along with the job. Ralph is extremely approachable, which is great to see in a CEO.

Cons

Lack of communication internally which then affects what we tell customers. It's as if no one really knows what's going on. The customer service team is often shunned to the side, missing out on work socials and the 'great work culture' so often spoken about. The turnover of the customer service team is astounding. Multiple people from the team have been signed off work due to the stress and anxiety the role causes, yet nothing has changed. Have a problem? Good luck speaking to management and expecting a change. All talk and no action.

Uncertain Future

Pros

Typically offer low wages for positions so only under qualified people apply offering growth opportunities but without guidance. However Pinter's growth has peaked and there are far fewer growth opportunities now Has employee led diversity and inclusion panel Had ground filter coffee machine and many teas but quality and quantity has been steadily decreasing since they laid off the office manager Is based on the Black Horse Beer Mile

Cons

Complete lack of quality management has lead to decline in sales and high customer turnover. Long running issue that is not being addressed. Future of the company is questionable. Laid off 70 staff post Christmas rush Jan 2022. Moral is poor Have many company values but are rarely stuck to, or factored into decisions. Quality, Value, Community, Sustainability, Innovation Management is under experienced and under performing Poor quality of sites. Office is normally freezing and heaters are required in winter but is too hot in summer. Roof leaks when it rains 80% of the company got no payrise in the annual review of pay Jan 2021. Many key long time staff left across the company after this
