I have been working at Pitney Bowes full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Overall, this is a good company to work for with very dedicated staff. Flexible working culture, good offices and benefits.

    Cons

High turnover of staff and constant changes from senior (US based) management. UK management is fairly ineffective and company more or less run my middle management. Products and services are sold in vertical towers with very little cross over. Every vertical for themselves.

I worked at Pitney Bowes full-time for more than 8 years

    Pros

Flexible working hours. Family like atmosphere. Good medical cover. Relaxed working environment. Result oriented so even if it looks like you only worked 1 hour, if you produced results nobody cares. Very good work/life balance.

    Cons

Pitney Bowes is a very large organization made up of hundreds of acquired companies. Each group you join is probably what used to be 1 company that was acquired, along with its staff. Culture among each group differs, depending on what the original working culture of that company is like. All the pros I stated may not apply if you transfer to another working group. Apart from your base salary, expect not much else in benefits. No free lunch, no free coffee, etc. Your career with Pitney Bowes depends on how much profitability your acquired product still provides. Once your group gets reorganized to report to product managers in the USA, your career with Pitney Bowes is coming to an end.

I worked at Pitney Bowes full-time for more than 8 years

    Pros

Local management work hard and try to keep the business relevant. Employees are encouraged to progress their roles.

    Cons

The company has no enduring plan and restructure every three to six months. Speculative software purchases and a lack of focus is causing irreversible damage.
