    I worked at PointClickCare full-time for more than a year

    Pros

    - Nice office - In house Cafeteria - Gym - Benefits and RRSP Matching - Unlimited Vacation (kind of) - Diverse workplace

    Cons

    - Sales culture totally different from the company culture - Lots of favouritism - Incompetent managers/lack of true leadership - Minimal support for cross functional career growth - Employee feedback not valued - Managers constantly implementing fear tactics

    Advice to Management

    If you want employees to be engaged and give you 100% consistently, you may need to provide better training for leaders and hold them more accountable or just simply teach them HOW to lead. Even though I have moved on, I fear the account development team soon, will not be able to retain top talent for the company because of incompetent leadership.

    I had a great experience at PointClickCare's recent Sales Career Fair. I have nothing but positive things to say about this opportunity. This event was very well organized and very informative. The panel Q&A session was a great way to engage us with real life employee experiences.

    Advice to Management

    I would say that the panel Q&A session was very successful. It is very important to have audience engaged and this was accomplished and very well put together.

    Pros

    The culture is practiced and preached. They do an amazing job of hiring lots of GREAT people and provide exceptional support to their employees. The perks and benefits are incomparable and there is so much room for career development and changes within the company itself should you seek that.
