      Toxic Work Environment

      Pros

It's a job in photography, so at the very least you can get some tips and tricks about working with lighting, posing, propping, etc. You get to work with kids and families who are excited to get photos taken together.

      Cons

You do have to sell and upcharge the clients you photograph, which feels a little icky when people came in for the $10 package and you're trying to sell sentimental value for $100, not something they budgeted for. Couldn't take any time off during the holiday season, everyone was sick but had to come to work, and some clients were saying they didn't want to work with photographers who were sick, especially when they had kids with them. The manager at my store wouldn't give us a break all shift, then gave us the option at night to give her our employee number so we could just leave instead of punching out and back in to look like we took a lunch and then punch out again to leave for the night. Toxic.

      Pros

      Cons

This job basically only hires you for seasonal help and will get rid of you with no cause.

      Cons

      Closed down leaving everybody jobless
