I have been working at Premier Inn part-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Good pay (and tips if you work in the restaurant/bar) Great team to work with Can be a good variety in what you do at work - between reception, restaurant, bar and breakfast

    Cons

Extremely unsociable working hours. Backshift every weekend. Rotas changed at a moments notice Don't always finish on time Senior management will try and act like they care about their employees but it never feels that way

I have been working at Premier Inn full-time for more than a year

    Pros

    Great team and manager

    Cons

A company who lacks class toward managers and there staff adding more work on to us for less money. The new structure is an embarrassment to what was a great company at the beginning. to work for Getting rid of Operations managers to make them mini area managers and to offer an assistant manager role to someone giving them more responsibility and getting payed less than our maintenance team this is a joke

I worked at Premier Inn full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

The best cases of customer friendliness ever! The Staff are a great team working together for excellent services in hospitality!

    Cons

Everyday mistakes are made in the reception department and as next shift staff members do not pick them up, the night shift always spends too much time night after night problem solving!

I have been working at Premier Inn part-time for less than a year

    Pros

they have an excellent hourly pay rate of £7.50 and the staff at most hotels are very welcoming and great team workers. You also receive discounts at any store attached to the whitbread company

    Cons

the job is extremely pressurising with a lot of time constrains considering it is a heavily demanding job practically. on a normal day we would only be expected to work 4 hours, this is in my opinion, not worth it for the hourly rate

I worked at Premier Inn full-time for more than 8 years

    Pros

Great team and good benefits for employees. Good national incentives. Getting better at investing into IT. Great support for company nominated charity.

    Cons

Labour model is at less than minimum. One team member does everything ans everywhere. Team nembers earn more than ops mgr for same hours. No support when shifts needs to be covered due to sickness or holidays. Management and team does double and split shifts. Ops mgr are not in charge or have voice. Whatever has been agreed by senior management is a must. No say at all. Team that haven't been trained must cooked in a kitchen when busy or when chef is on holidays. When you have no heating or ac in a hotel how can you earn your bonus that is based on guest reviews?
