I have been working at Premier Research full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

    - The atmosphere here is dynamic and fast paced. No day is ever the same so no chance to get bored!
    - Travel and workload is less than my previous company. Expectations of employees here are more realistic, meaning a better work / life balance.
    - Management are interested in progressing employees. It seems that they want to retain good staff here.
    - Exciting time to be part of Premier Research.

    Cons

    - You cannot blend into the background here so there is no shying away from challenges / situations. People here are very much treated as an indvidual and you should be ready to have an opinion and make a difference.

    Advice to Management

Keep on doing what your doing! The company is in a really positive place at the moment.

I worked at Premier Research full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Good team work. Small company but closer work relationship. Attracts interesting projects from small and mid size bio pharma companies with innovative products. Projects were never boring.

    Cons

Hard work unappreciated most of the time.

    Advice to Management

Reward hard working staffs and don't be shy showing your appreciation, it is worth twice than boring appraisal paper work.

    Disapproves of CEO

I worked at Premier Research full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

    Carrots always provided, misleading employees.

    Cons

Little/no growth opportunity. Nepotism rules. Incompetent Line Managers. Micro-managing. Inadequate training. Specific departments have pushed out the most talented folks. Very few employees whose priority are patients. Focus is financial growth, and to the detriment of patients, and science.

    Advice to Management

Most management highly under-qualified, and ignorant to the personnel who could really have made this organization a true asset.

I have been working at Premier Research full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

I've worked at a couple of CRO's and I haven't been happier than at Premier. I have heard similar feedback from coworkers in various positions who have also been in the industry a while. Management has a genuine interest in your development and well-being; across different managers in the company I have heard consistent feedback that they have your best interest and I have seen them make opportunities for you that other CRO's cannot provide. Vacation is very generous.

    Cons

Work from Home was taken away in 2017, although they are flexible if you have needs to be at home. 401k match is not the best.

    Pros

Conducive working environment and helpful team members Good communication amicable staff. One can work comfortably. I can certainly recommend to work here. Processes are fast

    Cons

Not as good paymasters compare to industry standards and slow responses. Interview calls are not very fast affecting faster recruitment.

I have been working at Premier Research full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

teams are small so you have the opportunity to learn a lot. your scope of work is wider than it would probably be in a larger company but it's a great learning atmosphere and everyone I've encountered has been patient and welcoming toward questions. My line manager encourages me to log off after 40 hours of work, and to not allow the pressures of a study to force me to work late or on weekends.

    Cons

not currently using the most efficient technology when it comes to trip report writing and site management, but they're on their way to developing these systems and it's good to be here from the inception of it all.
pay is not the highest in the industry but it's adequate. don't come here if you're chasing a bigger paycheck, it won't happen.

    Advice to Management

ensure that your employees feel acknowledged/appreciated. jobs may be more cumbersome/time consuming while working with outdated technology, so there should be compensation for our efforts.
