I have been working at Pret A Manger full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Usually the team member are amazing people, you can grow fast if you work hard enough. The allowance for food and drinks are pretty good, which you don't get from many other companies.

    Cons

Sometimes the shop can become very busy and the Leader has no time to do breaks. Someday you can work 10 - 12h stand up with no time no eat or drink something.

    I worked at Pret A Manger full-time

    Pros

Benefits and initial pay but no payrise in years

    Cons

I worked in pret in 2018 and it was a place for people that really don't care about what they do. It was a sad place and will always remain one because of the nature of the job.

    I worked at Pret A Manger full-time

    Pros

Free food, coffee, team drinks, bonus, 50% of

    Cons

A typical shift is you start early because there always some issue or you usually leave late. The people calling sick or showing up late makes the job very hard. Too much or too little stock was always problem. There is never enough staff to do all required work. Cleaning either gets rushed as a result, orders get missed and lead to more or little stock or you're swamped by number of customers. Having two staff to do all the tasks mean standards you have been told to follow get missed and it make you feel like you were only doing half job when you were really trying the best. Food usually ends up in the bin instead of a charity. The cost of sending food to charity and having it picked up is higher in cost of Pret just wasting it anyway and making it again the next day with cheap labour cost of very little team. Overall your better working a minimum pay job for little stress then what Pret gives. There isn't growth unless you work many years for very little pay. Payrise based on kissing but.
