I have been working at Pret A Manger full-time for more than 8 years

    Pros

I've been working for Pret for many years. It's a very well organised company who knows how to motivate their employees with all bonuses, every last Friday of the month parties, team awards and free launch. Definitely good quality of food and amazing hygiene standards which obviously also depends on the store manager. And last but least Clive Schlee is the best CEO I've ever met. He's always been very caring for the people's well-being which drove him to success.

    Cons

If you want to work for Pret you have to work really hard and whatever your mood make sure you always smile. Mystery shopper weekly visits and high requirements are quite stressful for the team as the weekly bonus depends on it. Shifts could be starting in the very early mornings and sometimes working long hours because of the absence of other team members. Not much cons though.

    Advice to Management

Make sure you respect and support your teams because their happiness and well-being are leading to success.
