I have been working at Progressive Insurance full-time

    Pros

Progressives Culture is one of the best I have seen. They really care about their employees and the work environment they create. During this unprecedented pandemic, Progressive quickly stepped up and allowed all their staff to work from home. They spun up a financial package to help employees during that time and sent out credits to all their customers as well. Progressive is a great place to work!

    Cons

I have yet to find something that I truly don't like.

I have been working at Progressive Insurance full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Benefits are good. Any peers with more than a year or two under their belt will definitely know how to blow off steam and have some fun.

    Cons

The goals are unreachable the majority of the time and the claims industry is notorious for providing unmanageable workloads.

I have been working at Progressive Insurance full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Co workers in office Truly get to make decisions that impact people's every day lives Bonus at the end of the year

    Cons

Pay barely moves unless you change positions They don't always hire the best person, bit based on tenure. It is stressful. If you enjoy work life balance then don't do it. If you know this is temporary to start off then go for it. Morally some decisions left me with sleepless nights. It is a business after all.

I worked at Progressive Insurance full-time for more than a year

    Pros

AWESOME company culture. You get to be yourself at this company and that matters!! Good flexibility surrounds schedules and positions.

    Cons

Depending on hiring manager, your pay will not be the same as your peers which is not a good feeling. Really one of the only things I would note is that they need to try to make everyone’s intake process the same/similar.
