Pros

Cult sort of mentality where everyone blindly follows the CEO. There's an absolute autocratic culture. So join if you're into that sort of a thing!

Cons

1. Long working hours. You come in at SHARP 7 in the morning and when leaving at 7-8 in the evening, CEO looks at you as if you're worthless. 2. No amount of hard work is recognised unless you suck up to the CEO and keep backbiting about your the other employees to be in his good books. 3. No leaves. Like literally you get 3 official leaves in a year i.e. the National Holidays when anyway all the offices are closed down. 4. No job security. Everyone works there under the constant fear of being fire based on the CEO's mood. And that's considered normal among the employees. And there's a rampant victim-blaming culture after someone is terminated. 5. Your job is to deceive innocent people of their hard earned money. It's a total scam. 6. No Medical insurance or PF

Pros

Having worked with many startups as well as some of the largest corporates in India, I see nothing extraordinary for an experienced professional in this company

Cons

- Potential wise, there is no future of this idea. You get really low cost views for customers which are completely meaningless in long run. There is no effort in redistributing these views to targeted locations or demography either. Check the status of Promolta, Baymack, Outbuck online and you will realize how poor this company is, in handling it's customers. - No respect for talent. This company claims itself to be a fast and aggressive work environment but fails to live up to the value. Top management is incompetent and goes blind in decision making with no data backed approach. The intuitive way of working is alright if the decision makers are competent, or can listen to those who are talented.

Pros

- Young team, nice people except the higher management - I started using bullet points hoping that there would be more to write here

Cons

- Terrible management - The CEO is very rude, insulting and almost humiliates you everyday. Has crazy expectations generally. You get to work closely with him, but he really doesn't listen to you, so what's the point? He wants employees from big institutions and companies to join Promolta and then treats them like dirt. - Unethical Eg: Made me hire a few candidates who were fired within a week of joining, we co-hosted and interview and he asked such sexist interview questions that made me cringe and apologise to the candidate. (Note one of the interview reviews which says "you get the job if you don't plan to get married in the next year") You realize he really needs help with the management. - Risk of getting fired (I was too. One of the hundreds that got fired in the year. This wouldn't be surprising for a startup but for a small company of 10 people, the attrition rate is crazy) - Expecting crazy work from you from the first day (No exaggeration here) with NO training. - The cofounder is relatively nicer, but you realize she has no say in any of the company decisions. - If you don't come on weekends to the office with a smile, they assume you are not a "hustler" (Yes, sometimes Sundays too)
