    Pros

Great support offered from all levels of management in the company, to really help you grow and succeed Tailored training and development classes to help you hit your next level Lots of incentives such as long weekend trips away (which are SO much fun), vouchers, prizes and team nights out Shorter hours in the school holidays Performance and achievements always positively acknowledged and celebrated

    Cons

Turnover can be high in some areas, but the same can be said for most recruitment agencies!

I worked at Protocol Education full-time

    Pros

Paid sick leave Training in London head office Paid expenses Reduced hours in school holidays Good location of offices Dressed down when not in client meetings

    Cons

No available car park so it becomes expensive Regularly working beyond your paid hours Not being allowed to leave until not only your duties were completed but other people's even if they had already left Extremely micro managing atmosphere Incredibly demoralizing regional management When above points are fed back to other managers the regional then pulls you aside and says you embarrassed them Bullying tactics are regularly used No consequences to senior recruitment consultants who have a blatant disregard for the rules Incredibly high staff turnover. I was there 6 months and 5 people left. No initiative allowed, only what the management decide

I worked at Protocol Education full-time for less than a year

    Pros

Expenses - pay for travel to training Free lunches Money incentives - such as vouchers Opportunity to meet people from other branches Good sales training Reduced hours in school holidays Paid sick leave Hour lunch break Good basic salary Can be a nice environment when everyone is not under pressure or management in a bad mood

    Cons

Micromanaged environment, high pressured and often felt like bullying tactics used 42 hour week No work/life balance Can only take annual leave in school holidays Do not take new ideas/criticism well High turnover of staff Not much support from management Management like to tell you you are being watched on training days and will receive feedback about you Sat at a desk all day - not encouraged to work away from computer Not many opportunities for career progression Will email you rather than talk to you in person about your performance Did have dress down Fridays - but took this away and replaced it as a weekly incentive (if you didn't reach the targets didn't get dress down)

    I worked at Protocol Education

    Pros

Good team (other than management), nice office environment, shorter working hours during school holidays

    Cons

Awful management team who show no concern over their team's welfare. If your face doesn't fit, you're out. Poor commission scheme. Stressful and negative working environment. Spoken to like a child on a daily basis. You will have no autonomy and find yourself 'going through the motions' to keep your manager off your back. No work/life balance. Blame culture with managers blaming others to cover their own backs. Don't trust anyone!
