      Pros

      What I value most was the technical depth of the tasks . The team’s expertise and team collaboration made the experience truly enriching.

      Cons

      Ambitious storytelling on the outside, but slow technical advancement on the inside. Many colleagues are exhausted, and constructive criticism often stayed unspoken. It reinforced for me how essential realistic planning and psychological safety workplaces are for any organization that wants to build more than a narrative. When the vision and capabilities drift too far from what is realistically achievable creates unnecessary pressure and limits the potential of the great people doing the work.It can happen that a hype is followed by a hard reality check.

      It wasn't that bad until the new head of hr came along

      Pros

      Really challenging project, interesting tasks, a lot of ownership and real impact.

      Cons

      Performance review process was a joke and made many people leave. The culture became toxic, people got silenced and depressed. Crazy owertimes and 'get blamed' culture.

Proxima is working on one of the hardest engineering challenges humanity has ever attempted, and we do believe that requires building a high-performance culture with clear standards and real accountability. We also know that this environment isn't the right fit for everyone, and we respect that. We talk about this openly during our interviews and let people decide if this is the right place for them.       Great talent, poor directions, disappearances

      Pros

      Good employees with good intentions. Flexible work (for some). Location.

      Cons

      A few have special conditions, the vast majority is asked to be there in the office, give their life to the company and be reachable 24/7. You are asked to give a lot while never receiving support, help or directions. Management is wary of making choices, there is no coordination and all the resulting pressure and work is passed down. You are held responsible of the outcomes, but you won't have a voice in the decisions. People were terminated in mysterious circumstances. Non-positive feedback is not received well. Stuck in the old ways.
