Pros

There is a gym, a ping pong and pool table

Cons

Product is not innovative, does the same thing as the competitors but with worse sources and hugely limited by 3rd party vendor, big USP for clients? Saving the 30 seconds it takes to import and export something Boolean is the worst out of the majority of available platforms There is 0 culture, it's all forced over email with GIFs or 10p chocolates handed out without any context or fun. Commercial managers, one man in particular who I'm not allowed to name is a disaster, unprofessional, uninformed, weirdly favourites Account management but should face legal charges based on his treatment of other parts of commercial team no longer in the business.

Pros

Some great people and nice office space.

Cons

Questions to ask when interviewing for a BDR position at Pulsar Platform. - What are my on-target earnings and how does this benchmark against your very best BDRs' success? - What is your employee turnover for the BDR team in the last year? - What are your KPIs for demos booked per month? How many demos on average does the team book per month? - What is the ratio for BDR-generated demos that have closed/ VS all demos booked in the last year? - When and how many BDRs successfully achieved your progression plan? Do you have a progression plan? - How many BDR-generated demos did my BDM close in the last year? - Who runs the BDR team and what real experience does this person have against booking meetings/ or running successful teams?

Pros

- Very confident & friendly staff - Strong social & drinking culture - You gain experience quickly - Start-up culture

Cons

- Huge lack of direction from management - Poor overall company direction and branding strategy - No opportunity to progress unless you're working in sales - Graduates and junior members of staff are massively taken advantage of and paid poorly - Huge salary discrepancies between managers and staff - Poor communication between departments - each department only interested in looking after themselves - No cohesive motivation or reward structure for staff - A very arrogant, private-school culture - where intimidation through intelligence is key to getting where you want to be

Thank you so much for taking the time to post your review; all feedback is welcome. We have very granular progression paths at Pulsar. However, if you were part of a new team in a new function you might not have been exposed to a granular enough path, which is something that we have now addressed within our new team structures. We're sorry you feel you haven't had clear direction from your line manager. We have now implemented tighter processes to make sure team managers are communicating the company strategy clearly to their team as well as updates are shared to the wider company by the management team on a regular basis. We pride ourselves on having a flat hierarchy which harnesses a collaborative and supportive culture. Our salaries are benchmarked on a number of factors and we feel that these are reflective of market rate and our industry. We live and die by the quality of execution and everybody at Pulsar pride themselves on the quality of their work. As you can see from other reviews below the team is proud of our product and that's what glues us together. We're sorry if this came across as intimidating. Pulsar are always looking for ways in which we can improve in all areas so appreciate your thoughts above and we wish you well with your future endeavours.
