I have been working at PwC full-time

    Pros

Great retail practice - working across the board (with pureplays, stores heritage) in the UK and also internationally. With our brand we get across across the boardroom and deliver really fundamental change - operating model through to tech transformation. But what's really cool is that we do it with the Experience first - the experience of the customer and the people.

    Cons

Mobility is a must so be ready to commit to travel during the week

    Advice to Management

keep evolving our structures we can immerse people in sectors as early as possible in their careers

    Pros

Great organisation, lots of opportunities to work on different challenging assignments, travel the globe, explore and grow in various areas, get access to senior stakeholders.

    Cons

Red tape, procedures and polices make it difficult to innovate and make changes,
Hierarchy driven and poor internal technology to collaborate and work in current age.

    Advice to Management

Reduce hierarchy, red tape, improve performance management process

I have been working at PwC (More than a year)

    Pros

Flexibility of work is brilliant able to work around personal commitments. Laptop given is ace and paid overtime is a bonus. Always leave early on a Friday. Offices are nice places to work. Great pay whilst still at uni!

    Cons

Expected to go onto jobs and be competent in every audit task with little supervision, can be left to own devices. Long hours at times and can be stressful to meet deadlines.

    Advice to Management

Be more involved with teams, do not leave to own devices and then be shocked when things are not done to your standard. Make the offices more fun places and encourage people to get to know each other can be quite dull/clicky at times.
