    I worked at PwC full-time

    Pros

Hard work, but lots of training and interesting projects.

    Cons

Long hours and travel can be onerous. Also can be difficult having to justify your time when not on a project. If you specialise in an area it can be difficult to move into something new as you're constantly in demand on projects with that skill set.

    Advice to Management

Give people more opportunities for developing skills in new areas.

I have been working at PwC full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Great place to build foundations, excellent training and a range of project opportunities available.

    Cons

Pay is not in line with that offered by the other big 4 companies.

    Advice to Management

Ensure pay is actually "competitive", particularly at the manager and senior associate grades to improve staff retention.

I have been working at PwC full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

The staff are generally excellent and great fun to work with
    Projects are interesting
Flexibility in where you do your work
    Prestige

    Cons

Overly reliant on staff commitment and can end up doing large amounts of overtime
    Promotion path is very narrow
Penny pinching, whilst asking for more commitment from staff e.g. assumption that everyone will do large amounts of overtime for free, rather than hiring proper numbers of staff

    Advice to Management

Can follow cost containment or differentiation: can't do both and your penny pinching damages morale for very little real tem gain
Promotion paths should be looked at, as you cannot afford to lose your experienced staff, who clients look to you to provide and you rely on to win and deliver work, but are not going to be suitable for partner track

I have been working at PwC full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

    Good exposure to clients
Paid to train for ACA and given study leave

    Cons

Undergoing a lot of cost saving atm due to falling partner profit shares. So less employee benefits, drinks and social events as there used to be. Bonuses being lowered and salaries frozen.
Not compensated for long hours (i.e busy season)
    Bonuses are low
