I have been working at QA Consultants full-time

    Pros

Chance to work with a lot of big name companies. Quite a lot of freedom to do it your way.

    Cons

Huge pressure on resources, everyone doing too much, very long hours. Lots of politics and senior people avoiding taking ownership.

    Advice to Management

Remove those who don't deliver as it demoralises everyone else.

    Positive Outlook

I have been working at QA Consultants full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

I've been with QA Consultants for 3 years and although the company is not perfect, it has a great team of people working there. We also have regular social events, monthly birthday brunches and professional lunch and learns. In addition, I get to work on different projects so work is never boring and I get to learn new things all the time.

    Cons

In general, nothing really bad to say. Any cons are quite minimal.

    Advice to Management

The only thing I would recommend is maybe spending some more time with the employees.

I have been working at QA Consultants full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

As I read some of the comments posted about this company it angers me to see some of the false statements people make with little to no accountability of what is being said. It is easy to write negative comments when you have the protection of being anonymous without any factual evidence to back your statements up.

Comments about the company taking advantage of its employees and being “scam artists” is simply not true as QA Consultants opens doors for anyone who is willing to put in the effort and time to better themselves as professionals and contributors. There are varying levels of skills and abilities within QA Consultants and individuals who are willing to put in the effort find themselves moving up within the ranks very fast and can go from Jr. QA Analyst to Lead or Manager within 4 years. This is simply not the norm for many in other organizations.

Furthermore, QA Consultants offers an extensive list of recognition and perks that have been created from continuous communication with everyone in the organization. Some of those perks are as follows:

    1. Flexible Health and Dental Benefits
    2. Flexible working arrangements (start and end times, work from home, projects that can be located closer to home where possible) so that employees can meet the needs of their individual and family needs
    3. Generous Sick Days
    4. Instant $1,000 salary increase for every child born or adopted while employed at QA Consultants
    5. Free day off to get married
    6. Overtime Pay (Where it is not legally required by ESA)
    7. Time in lieu (for individuals putting in extra effort)
    8. On-site premium of up to 10%
    9. Monthly birthday brunches
    10. Weekly and quarterly social events
    11. Free premium level gym membership
    12. Lunch and Learns for further skills and experience development
    13. Generous Salary increases, allowing for fast upward movement
    14. Increased management level health benefits, including increased vacation for intermediate employees
    15. Market leading training on QA and trending technologies, valued at about $10,000 in the marketplace, and free within QA Consultants
    16. Tuition reimbursement
    17. Mileage and transit subsidy

Over the years, QA Consultants has provided new opportunities for individuals that had no QA background whatsoever and many of these individuals are thriving professionals throughout the country today. As well, many employees have grown within QA Consultants and have been rewarded time after time for their outstanding efforts and contribution.

QA Consultants has a vigorous and highly structured training program and only bring on individuals who not just only have technical skill, but above all, good values and common sense. QA Consultants’ clients trust the company and in turn the company needs to trust and value the people who represent the brand and organization.

    Cons

QA Consultants is still a growing company that is evolving every year to better meet the needs of its customers. Yes, there have been bumps along the way, true for any growing company, but I can truly say that the organization always tries to do the right thing to ensure that everyone who comes to work at QA Consultants has the empowerment and ability to be successful as that person wants to be.

    Advice to Management

Continue to listen to employees and customers and evolve to remain successful in a highly competitive space.
