      Pros

A great team to work with with, staff are on the whole friendly, good natured and easy to get on with. You will be in daily contact with world leading technical experts in their fields. Sites have generally good facilities and are located in rural or semi rural areas. Good range of benefits with flexible working generally available with line manager approval.

      Cons

Promotion and pay rises can be limited and difficult to achieve, recognition of achievement during the year is not always apparent when it comes to the annual pay round. Focus particularly at senior levels is on delivery and achieving targets, this is often at the expense of the employee work life balance.

      A changed company!

Sep 20, 2019 - Technical Manager in Cosham, England, England

      Business Outlook

      Pros

Flexible working hours (provided 37 hours per week is achieved over a rolling 4 week period).

      Cons

Managers regularly "encourage" you to produce the same output in less time. Focus has gone away from people and quality; feels as though profit is now the main driver. Ongoing company structural changes were not complete prior to recent redundancies. Now things have settled down some areas are extremely busy and struggling for resources, some areas are less busy. Not well thought out in my opinion.
