      The people, interesting work, good support system.

      Cons

      The salary was behind market-value, was still transitioning from public to private. This meant the older heads had large public sector pensions not made available to newer members of staff.

      All technology and practices were at least a few years out of date, and there were many blockers for getting anything done.

      Interesting work Flexible - great for people with families and other commitment Technical community are talented, there's a good chance you could be working with a national or world leader in your area. Friendly staff

      Cons

      The lean years under the previous CEO has resulted in a rather jaded workforce. Company processes get in the way of doing useful work. Company only optimises things it can measure, leading to some strange management decisions

      Incredibly Flexible working (both in terms of daily hours and ability to take flexi days) Great pension and share schemes Interesting work with opportunities to own and lead work early on and really be involved in what you want to be involved in Great people who love what they do and really look out for each other

      Ability to find someone to listen to the ideas you have and help you unlock the potential in the business can be really challenging Some of the people (especially those who have been around forever) can be quite negative even when there is no reason to be
