      Terrible work environment

      Pros

      Casual dress code. You can basically come to work in sweats

      Cons

      I worked here for less than 2 months and left due to the toxic work environment. The office is uncomfortable and sometimes hostile. "Senior" management is SO strict. Simple talking to co workers is frowned upon. You are not allowed to have any personal "decorations" or pictures on your desk. The break room must always be pristine. Sometimes I didn't even eat in the break room out of fear that I would not clean up well enough. As a recruiter, I was given no training. You are are never able to communicate with the client directly, and feedback is rarely given. The salary is a joke. You are paid less than $30k with the promise of "uncapped" commission. Placements are hard to come by, so the commission is tough to get.

      We are sorry that you feel that way. Starting base salaries are commensurate with each applicant’s experience and prior pay history; having no prior experience in the field certainly puts you in the entry level category and the "less than $30K salary" was much more than what you were earning in retail. Nonetheless, we thank you for your feedback. We strive for excellence here at Questa and your input is beneficial as we are constantly looking for ways to improve.

      Pros

      No overtime unless you want to work more. The recruiting world is competitive so working more does help.

      Cons

      Everything is repulsive about this company. There is zero training. Management disregards all concerns questions and requests. They turn over employees weekly. That alone shows they will not last, if you can not keep someone more then a week you are doing something Incorrectly. There is no real Human Resources depeartment, Which makes for confusion commissions benefits sick days. There is a huge lack communication in the company, no one seems to be on the same page, which trickles down to employees and directly effects their work. It is a toxic gossipy workplace.

      Thank you for your feedback. We have been in business since 1998 and we are still going strong. As some have mentioned, the recruiting industry isn't for everyone; some employees aren't able to keep up and turnover is unfortunately an inevitable element that impacts all industries. All employees are given a hard copy manual on their first day which contains all of the company's HR policies and lists all employee benefits but many do not take the time to review the information. As for the “toxic gossipy workplace”, we have made many changes since 2017 and learning from our mistakes, we are working hard to improve the quality of personnel through tougher screening measures.

      Casual Work Atmosphere, "Family" Team Feel, Good Work-Life Balance, No mandatory overtime.

      Cons

      Small company, Very small list of clients, Very hard to get consultants hired, No career advancement opportunities, Management team is poor/No leadership, Benefits package is below industry standards, Recruiters are overworked and underpaid.

      Thank you for your review, however there's a bit of a contradiction; you listed Good Work-Life Balance with no mandatory overtime but you also indicated that Recruiters are overworked?! We have made great strides within the last few years; having brought on many new clients as well as invested heavily into the company’s infrastructure. Thank you for the input as we are constantly seeking ways to improve.
