    "I loved my time there!"

Former Employee - Vendor Analyst in Detroit, MI

I worked at Quicken Loans full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

People are friendly, to me. They’re the ones that make it special working there since you’re around people from different backgrounds and walks of life.

    Cons

There’s definitely long hours so you need to be able to have the “grind” mindset. There were times where I felt overwhelmed, but I’d just take a break.

    Cons

Long hours, however if you have the grind mindset you'll be fine.

    I worked at Quicken Loans

    Pros

Quicken loans was one of the best jobs. Pay is great hours are long but it doesn’t even feel like work.

    Cons

They don’t care about you at all. They have this big speech on the culture and how it’s an amazing opportunity but they don’t tell you they will fire you for anything at all no matter how hard you work or how many hours you put in your job is always on the Line. I was let go a week before Christmas because someone said they heard me cuss even with great numbers and perfect attendance .They said they would investigate and then told the entire team there is no investigation and I was fired. It is just like a high school in the environment in the sense everyone talks about each other and the higher ups have their favorites who never get told anything.

    Negative Outlook
    No Opinion of CEO

I have been working at Quicken Loans full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Benefits, friendly people, snacks in break room

    Cons

They'd rather fire bankers than let them transfer to other areas in the company. We're currently drowning in loans that need to close and instead of utilizing the employees Quicken already has, they're firing them or forcing them to quit. Makes literally no sense. Ontop of that the hours are going up drastically and this is getting ridiculous. The work/life balance does not exist at Quicken. And they don't really care.

I have been working at Quicken Loans full-time for more than 8 years

    Pros

Good benefits compared to other employers. Fun parties. When its good, its really good, but

    Cons

When its bad it is really BAD! The Company beliefs are great but in the blink of an eye, leadership changes can turn a happy, functioning team/business area into a hot mess where Team Members dread going to work daily. No consistency in policy or practice.
