I worked at RHR International full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Ability to work from home; some nice colleagues

    Cons

Where do I start? This place is the epitome of a toxic corporate culture that's stuck in the dark ages. The ability to work from home is really the only plus. The benefits overall are below average, and everyone who isn't a consultant is considered "support staff" and treated like peons. It's insulting. Instead of engaging with employees in real ways, they stick to outmoded conventions such as annual performance reviews...

    Advice to Management

Get out of the dark ages and bone up on 21st century management. This is supposed to be your specialty, yet you fail spectacularly at it.

I have been working at RHR International full-time

    Pros

Having impact at the senior levels of organizations; being engaged every day on a variety of interesting business and leadership challenges; learning about new business models and experiencing different cultures and businesses all the time; a supportive community of very smart people who share a common set of values

    Cons

if you love consulting, there are very few cons; the travel can be a grind sometimes but that's life in the consulting word - you need to find creative ways of giving time and energy back to yourself

    Pros

Super smart colleagues, highly collegial culture, no politics, strong client service focus. Ability to make a real difference with companies and executives who affect the lives of many people.
