Interesting rash of recent bogus positive reviews since the outsourcing & big layoffs, must be another attempt to boost public appearance of stability (and their KLAS scores). This company seems to be sliding fast towards an outright sellout and it's shaping up to look like us little people will most likely be tossed aside when leadership takes the cash & runs.
Mediocre medical benefits that have recently become even more mediocre but NO 401K MATCHING!! Also, not only is there zero upward mobility here (yes, you MIGHT be able to laterally move if you're an intern or your skills transfer but there is no training or growth support offered), but there have been instances of severe pay cuts or the threat of layoff as well. The only instances of a "promotion"-type move has been if a Director or Manager leaves and someone is forced into their position to perform double-duty, prompting inevitable resignations of course.
But the glaring issue is the extremely unstable product being deployed to the entire customer base due to poor regression development, lack of customer management, very poor planning & internal communication, everything being a literal last-minute emergency (again, 24/7), and no real direction or true leadership. Zero work/life balance & career development even though leadership (sort of) preaches it (only ever comes up during review periods).
None but 1 of the executive team has been here for much more than a year and all but one of those new guys still reside out of state with their families. No plans to relocate to the company location you just took over is very telling. The CEO specifically racks up quite a bit in travel, hotels, & a different Cadillac every Mon-Thurs when he is in Denver, even though he claims we all of the sudden can't afford to pay for new product development and have either lost or let go of a dozen very good employees in the last 2 months.
Again, priorities & direction are very clear here. Just a couple of months ago we were all told we were in a growth mode & bringing on offshore "help" to "free up time to accomplish more internally" was part of that growth with the PROMISE that "no jobs would suffer because of it" but 10-15 employees (that we know of...they don't usually publicly announce most departures) are gone since then and more work has been outsourced to India. People are disappearing weekly, including executive sales folks. We are bleeding good mid-level leadership and leaving the spoils of the inevitable sell-out to the one or two people at the top of the food chain.
