      Great experience so far.

      Pros

Very flexible, very worker-oriented and the work culture is a positive one. It may seem strict at first but there is so much respect for one another. Everyone from lab workers to warehouse operatives seems cut from the same cloth in that respect. The turnover of talent isn't high, which suggests that the company really want to retain their talent. The company have responded to employee feedback in the past (such as minimising the break hour to a half-hour so workers could leave earlier). The

      Cons

The 12.5 hour shift is a bit difficult if you commute to avoid the area lockdown. Some aspects of the COVID controls seem excessive.

      Overall great place to work

      Pros

A lot of realty talented people. Some managers are very supportive of their direct reports. Very collaborative environment on all levels; not hierarchical. Potential for career growth and promotion. Competitive compensation and good benefits package. Flexibility to work from home depending on the manager.

      Cons

Like any company with rapid growth there are frequently changing processes and procedures. They hire too many temps who end up fiercely competing for the same perm positions. Stock benefits are not much of a benefit if you were hired in the past 5 years or so. Lack of space at the Tarrytown office.

      Good pay

      Pros

By NY/NJ standards, Regeneron pays well. High base, consistent annual salary increase typically 3-5% (more for some), bonus always exceeds target % (personal + company combined).

      Cons

Sr Management "I'm right, your wrong" attitude sets a negative, demoralizing ethos. If you don't work on certain key brands, work is often not recognized or appreciated. Efforts toward DE&I didn't change Sr Management mentality. A big pharma company that is still trying to pass itself off as small pharma. For an innovative company, no innovative thinking about post-COVID return. Management still taking about returning to the normal day in the office with face to face meetings, rather than offering new ways of working moving forward. Limited opportunities for advancement in certain groups. Yes-men and nepotism are common.

Great Place to work with a few pitfalls

      Pros

This company really takes care of their people and it feels like they care.

      Cons

Requirements for promotion are not written or available which leaves your upward and lateral mobility in the hands of your supervisor. If you're well liked and/or know the right individual, you will advance. If not, good luck. DE&I needs to be better, especially in senior leadership.

Great Work Environment With Intense Work Expectations

      17 Apr 2021 - Co-Op in Tarrytown, NY

      Pros

The people at Regeneron are the best. Everyone is kind, understanding, and always willing to lend a helping hand or take a minute to explain something you may not understand.

      Cons

There is a lot of work to do and even co-ops are expected to complete a good share of the workload. However, co-ops are treated as Full Time Employees, so they get to learn great time management and organizational skills.

      Pros

Inclusive, innovative, continuously improving company that puts safety first. Individual and groups efforts are recognized and reward.

      Cons

Due to the fast paced work environment you need to be able to quickly adapt to new tasks and situations. That environment may not be suited to all.

      Equal Opportunity to a Fault

      Pros

Regeneron as a company is driven completely by metrics. Every candidate is on an equal playing field for a promotion as technical skills and completed work serve as the primary metric. There is very little value placed on soft skills, but this situation means that Regeneron is by definition an equal opportunity employer.

      Cons

The company is growing rapidly, but most of senior management has been there for an extended period of time. As a result, there is not a lot of space for vertical growth. Additionally, because Regeneron is so metric driven and places little emphasis on soft skills, management is not highly skilled at "managing". A lot of senior management are simply individuals who have amassed a large amount of technical information . The best managers in terms of driving the development of employees are not always in charge.
