      Pros

      Clients are groups who do good in the world. Freedom to try to implement new ideas. Company seems to be profitable. People are fun and smart. Ads team seems happy and campaigns team seems ok. Would not recommend joining any of the other teams.

      Cons

      Most employees are terrified of the CEO. Women, comparatively, are treated badly. They get yelled at more and seem to get fewer raises. Teams are totally siloed and different teams get very different pay and benefits. There is very little company-wide communication. Many people don't even know each other's names even though there are only 50-60 total employees. Haphazard processes, start-up-type disorganization.

      Casual workplace. Passionate about lefty causes. May Day is a holiday.

      Cons

      You need to agree with the leadership's political views. Pay is low compared to industry. Hours are long (although not longer than most firms during election season).

      Pros

      Working at Revolution Messaging as a Software Engineer great because of the flexibility and ability to work wherever you want. Compensation is competitive, and if you prove your worth you can get multiple bonuses based on your performance. The company offers plenty of ways to help pay for higher education and go to meet ups or conferences.

      Cons

      I wouldn't say there are any cons that I've come across. The only thing I can "maybe" write down as a con is the team size. The development team is small, which I like, but some people might prefer a larger team.
