I have been working at Richard Fleischman & Associates full-time for less than a year

    Pros

I joined RFA earlier in 2020, before the Pandemic. I was welcome with open arms by my peers and the MD of RFA even got involved in the last stage of my interview. one of the great things about the firm is the approachability of the Management team. The onboarding was a little difficult as guidance was limited due to many of the teams being out with clients by my direct line manager who has come from a a long standing experience in the sector led me fantastically and gave me manuals, and held me during the process well. I joined the firm as the team, the values and the people seemed very good - and they are. We all muck in. The salaries at RFA are fair and despite a difficult year for the everyone due to the pandemic the MD still made it possible for us all to have bonuses (that were eligible). The role I do is really great as we don't just go and fix things for clients we get to manage them like an IT Manager showing that we have the responsibility from RFA leadership and the clients get a non-commercial person managing their account. I love it here and wanted to share my views in a difficult year where we have also recruited a large number of people - in the London office and are now Moving to a larger one.

    Cons

There are no cons specifically that differ from other IT firms. the growth means the work load stays high but this has proved positive in this year where we may otherwise have lost jobs or been Furloughed. potentially would like more time for training but have yet to ask for this.

    Pros

    1. You meet a lot of innocent and clueless co-workers like yourself, especially if you're just starting out. 2. If you've worked only at RFA, chances are you're yet to experience an ideal work environment 3. Don't second-guess a better opportunity. KNOW YOUR WORTH

    Cons

    1. THE BEST OF THE WORST in all aspects of human resource management 2. THE BEST OF THE WORST in work and life balance 3. BEST WORST IT firm in NYC as far as client service

I worked at Richard Fleischman & Associates full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Your co-workers understand the complete dumpster fire that you are collectively involved in. The people you work with are the only pro.

    Cons

This is a never ending list. Strong blame culture, unbelievably toxic, constant internal politics, senior management never listening and the protection of awful (toxic) employees who can get away with anything because they are protected by management.

I have been working at Richard Fleischman & Associates full-time for more than a year

    Pros

    - Team events - Friendly work colleges

    Cons

    - Lack of Team effort - Constant miscommunication between management. - Management really dont have a grip on things - They have bitten off more than they can chew and need to focus on existing clients instead of trying to grow their client base. - Need more staff -Constantly pickup up work that has been half completed by other engineers - Dont get paid overtime you get "Time in lieu but have to accumulate minimum of half day before you can use it then when you try and use it you cant because there is not enough staff to cover you.

I worked at Richard Fleischman & Associates full-time for more than a year

    Pros

A great place to work - fantastic team and a leader who leads by example. Training and progression was actively encouraged.

    Cons

Hard work at times, if a client support call comes in, you resolve it, regardless. The hours could be long because of that.

I have been working at Richard Fleischman & Associates full-time for more than a year

    Pros

(RFA UK) has proven to be a great place to work and allowed me to grow in my role where other firms would have an internal cap on your career progression. The business is led by an MD who is passionate about the company, and that passion does spill over to the grand vision for the future. Management within the firm operate in an open and honest environment; they push and encourage while rewarding hard work and perseverance. There is great atmosphere and culture and teams are invited to work together while utilising their individual strengths to get the job done. In IT there is a trend to job-hop from one pay increase to the next, I can say that RFA encourages you to stay with the firm and incentivise you to grow and develop with them. With industry leading benefits and interactions with everyone in the from engineers right up to the MD, you can create the environment you want to work in as long as you are prepared to work hard and push yourself. I would say to anyone looking to work in a challenging, but a rewarding environment with a team of people who have a passion and vision for their business, and who would like to expand their career and look for a way to anchor themselves and grow, to explore the options within RFA

    Cons

The UK and US could interact on a more social level, however this is challenging due to distance.

I have been working at Richard Fleischman & Associates

    Pros

A large client base in the US office

    Cons

The UK office is a mess, for the past 12 months they’ve lost 10 out of 15 employees: 2 Senior Managers, 1 BDM, 1 AM, 2 network engineers and several field engineers. Complete lack of direction, few clients, usually start-ups 2, 3 man’s band, stay away. The recruitment process is a mess, mostly networking, brought in and let go shortly after.
