Great culture and flexibility

Pros

Riderflex provides all of us with an incredible culture. It's very collaborative and every individual involved is provided the opportunity to give input and direction on how the company operates. Successes are continuously promoted and celebrated. The team is encouraged to also share challenges that others can help provide advice and encouragement. The company is 100% virtual and the work schedule is completely flexible. As long as the team is successful with the work, there is no specific recording of time in which work is being completed.

Cons

There are no immediate downsides to working with this company.

I’m very sorry to hear that your experience here at Recruiting Firm Riderflex hasn’t been enjoyable. As the Founder and CEO of the company, I want to extend an invitation to speak with me personally. We value feedback here at Riderflex and constantly work towards improving our model. If you feel there’s a better way for us to reward Recruiters for their efforts in our commission structure, we welcome your feedback. Our full-time Recruiters here at Riderflex earned more on compensation over the last two years than any officer or employee of the company, including myself. Therefore, it’s disappointing to hear that one of our Recruiters might be upset with the commission structure. On average, our Recruiters are paid 40% commissions on positions they fill for the company and 90% commissions if they worked the project and brought in the client. As recruiters perform and produce results by filling positions, they earn commissions and several of them have done very well. The only thing that comes to mind is that maybe you haven’t had a chance to work on very many assignments. That could be possible based on the number of contracts we have coming in and the available recruiters to work on them. Or, maybe you haven’t had a chance to place candidates into the assignments you’ve been given? I’m not sure why your income might be low and you’re feeling as if the commission structure might be unfair, but I’m happy to talk it through and see where we can help. I’m guessing you just haven’t had a chance to fill many positions since being part of our family and I’m happy to chat about why that might be. Finally, after just finishing our third year and bootstrapping the company from the beginning, myself, the other founders and early employees have worked tirelessly to build the brand and make Riderflex an enjoyable place to work. In a startup situation that isn’t funded by outside cash, it’s truly a sacrifice on everyone’s part to make it work. Everyone on the team that has been here a while have sacrificed personal income they could have made on the open market to be part of building a brand. This type of startup atmosphere is not for everyone and we understand how it can be tough on compensation needs. This is the primary reason we’ve put an equity plan in place for people on the team so they can work towards gaining ownership in the company. Thanks so much for your notes and efforts to be part of Riderflex. We value your feedback and I hope to be able to speak with you directly. I can be reached anytime at 970-685-2268. Regards, Steve Urban, Riderflex Founder and CEO.

Pros

From the very start, RiderFlex was on top of everything. They were thorough in their explanation of the role they were filling as well as the company and hiring manager. More importantly, they cared about you as a person in the job market.

Cons

They put other recruiters to shame, which is obviously a con for everyone else, not RiderFlex.
