I worked at Robert Bosch full-time for more than 10 years

    Pros

Not many pros to working for Bosch, particularly with nthe management structure in place. The holiday entitlement as well as the minimal amount of time required to be at Denham spring to mind as being a positive.

    Cons

Plenty of downsides, the main one being the ever changing line managers, most of whom have not got a clue or an interest in the activities of the particular sales team they are managing, only wanting to climb the greasy pole to the next SL level, giving them immunity from being made redundant and before they move onto the next 'project'. The same applies for their managers. Any communication your line manager has with...

    Advice to Management

To late for most of the management to change their ways and views, all very well looked after not giving a hoot about the staff that work their butts off to get the, mostly unachievable, results. They should actually listen to the teams, and less time playing golf to reduce their handicap, instead of ignoring what input and advice they have particularly about the UK market place, but as they know best this will never...

I have been working at Robert Bosch full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Interesting Projects Good Team Travel possibilities

    Cons

UK staff are seriously underpaid compared to Germans. Majority of senior management are German so it's pretty much impossible to climb high in UK.

    Advice to Management

Treat Bosch in different countries as equal to Germans. Have higher diversity at mid to higher management. Have fair pay for the same job in different countries.

I worked at Robert Bosch full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Guaranteed hours, impecable work colleagues, challenging and fast paced. Extra hours almost always available.

    Cons

2week shift rotation, seasonal (no work in summer time), no recognition for hard work, agency workers don't get any benefits.

    Advice to Management

Stop treating people like numbers, respect each worker as a Human being, with different capacities and learn how to use and improve each individual strengths for everyone's benefit. And this is just for a start.
