Pros
They treat the top 1% well but still lie to top performers to be fair.
Cons
Everyone below the top 1% is treated by Directors in a toxic way, sexist and you are constantly gaslighted. When you need help, that help is always unavailable as the managers are always in meetings talking ill of the people below them. They promote the guys only, you have to be in the 'lads club'. It's always 'About them' never about what is best for you and the leader hates anyone else being in the spotlight. There is never any training, just very basic which would suit grads only opposed to experienced members of staff. Always reminded how much 'We took care of you'

Pros
None that I can honestly think of.
Cons
Told to sit and call an out of date database, with your call times being sent around daily and constantly asked what you're doing and where you are with KPIs. While I was only there for a short period of time the environment was toxic, where bullying is rife. Hardly any training, just call that list as that's the formula to success. High staff turnover. No BAME employees or woman in senior management. I came with ideas and was told 'We don't do things that way, we need 2 hours on the phone even if you stay until 8pm.' OR 'We can't afford that'

Pros
Some of my peers were nice people
Cons
- There’s a lot of areas within Robert Half that need improvement. A lot of these are brought up in their anonymous GLINT surveys, but nothing is ever done to change it. - Lack of transparency when joining. Very unclear what the commission structure is and left to your own devices to figure out how to make bonus. I later found out I had to bill my base salary, each quarter, before earning commission. This is not industry standard. - Another area you are left to your own devices to is training. Whilst you are monitored on activity and hitting KPIs, you receive little to no training on how to do the job well and earn commission. - The "culture" is totally driven by drinking, and if you don’t join in, you are left out. You are told you have to do this to get cross-sell opportunities or nobody knows who you are. - The turnover is extremely high, pretty much all tenured people. But it was presented their retention rates were amazing . - Everyone who leaves Robert Half does not have good words to say about them. They claim everyone is their “family” but you are dead to them as soon as you leave. If you’re an average recruiter, who wants a slightly less demanding environment and likes to drink, maybe this business is for you. But for graduates, professional or tenured recruiters, stay clear.

Pros
All pros disappear with how they treat you.
Cons
Poor name on the market, clients know they are a number and often feel ripped off. Senior Management don't respect woman due to their misogyny that is a core value of the Directors. The lack of woman in senior positions is eye opening and as is how you are treated like a second class citizen if you have a baby. Multiple senior members of staff and top billers have left in their droves and they are back to managing everyone as a number, like everyone is rookies, measuring with numerous meetings what they have done every day and measuring call time.

Pros
good learning ground, good training, good pool of existing clients to work on
Cons
KPI heavy drivel, 100 x calls a day is not successful if 99 are voice messages being left.

- 1.05 Nov 2022Division ManagerFormer Employee, more than 5 yearsLondon, England
Pros
The title might appear to be run well, however, the only good thing there is the training for new inexperienced staff but the old school trainers up in Birmingham. Beth and Trish are stars.
Cons
The place is falling apart. Run by individuals concerned about their egos. If you ever give feedback it is swept under the rug or it's your own fault. Rafts of tenured people are leaving, "don't blame us - it's COVID that ruined the culture" = the last lock down was almost 2 years ago. Inflexible old school management, good at running small branches but woefully out of their intellectual capacity in the flagship branch. Refusing to let managers run their respective teams, but instead micromanage every decision. Relentless meetings about nothing, wasting your time. No discretion as a manager, just constant wayward CEO speech rolling out their narrative. Full of 'yes men' - too afraid to give their own opinion, so fall in line instead. Relentless KPI monitoring that wastes so much time, you run out of time to help and coach. Culture is so bad Directors beg their managers to toe the line and conform in constant 'meeting room' chats, with the promise of getting larger teams and more responsibility.

Pros
Good surface pros from Microsoft
Cons
Management is lacking in diversity and misogynistic day in day out. Firm run by puppets for the Americans to make lots of money, people who are yes men and lack authority or any moral compass. Internal talent team is a joke, one of the biggest brand names scrapping around banging on about branding yet cannot attract any decent talent except for grads to join. I left as you look up to the management for years, push to get in to that group and when you get there it is run by insecure men, where it is a case of who can shout the loudest or loud at the boss' jokes hardest.
