    A constantly evolving company that cares about their people, always ready with opportunities when employees are ready to step up.

    Cons

    Working for such a large corporate does have many benefits, but at times it means we do not have the flexibility at local level to make big decisions that can impact our clients and candidates.

    Advice to Management

    For all businesses new colleagues need time and investment, always invest your time to make sure they understand what is expected of them and give them the tools to succeed, the rest is then down to them.

    Pros

    The support and training offered by this company is second to none. From getting consultants initially up to speed and then the further development throughout their career and progression.
    One on one time with Division Managers, Branch Managers and all the way through to Directors of the company.

    Cons

    Transition from a 9-5 working environment initially takes some time to adjust to but in the grand scheme of things 8-6 is in my experience directly correlates to my successes.

    Advice to Management

    Divisional Managers, Senior Managers and Directors have a direct influence on working environment which for me personally only helps development and growth within the business. So don't let that stop.

    Pros

    At Robert Half everything is based on merit: what you put in you get out. This really appealed to me as a graduate with no previous recruitment experience. If you're career hungry and have a good work ethic it will not only be recognised but also rewarded. With various recognition programmes and in house reward systems in place employees at all levels feel valued and rewarded: you don't have to be in the UK top 10 to feel success. Managers and directors work closely with you to identify your motivations and direct you on how to achieve your goals no matter how big or small. We also have a really great working environment with a diverse group of people who all have similar end goals in mind, and a work ethic of work hard, play hard.

    Cons

    The working hours are long to enable us to offer a flexible service to our candidates and clients but in return flexibility is given to you with working arrangements including being able to work from home using our updated technology and software.

    Advice to Management

    Continue to invest in those who are top achievers and also those who work hard.

    - Training and development is excellent, a lot of time & effort is spent on developing ambitious individuals who are looking to succeed
    - Good basic salary & regular salary reviews
    - Lots of 1-on-1 time with Directors and Associate Directors

    Cons

    - To have more flexibility in terms of working hours would be nice - with the rollout of Surface Pro tablets, this is something that is being introduced; in saying that you get out what you put in.

    Advice to Management

    Continue with the investment of time and resources into the development of consultants.

    Pros

    Develop alongside some of the UKs best recruiters, working in an office with a driven, dynamic and fun loving culture. I started with recruitment experience 5 years ago, and have grown so much as a recruiter and manager in that time. Alongside this comes industry leading bonus and benefits packages which have changed me and my families lives.

    Cons

    Hard work, pressure and long hours are not everyone's flavour. As an organisation they are quick to praise success, but dont hold back criticism when its due.

    Advice to Management

    Keep it up!!
