Pros

You will start to appreciate how much you enjoy and value you life and time outside of work it will make you appreciate an actual good job when you leave the social scene is the best part but even then there is a huge click with management and their favourite staff There are actually some brilliant individuals there and one or two managers who have been there for years who are quality however too often their brilliance is thwarted to adhere to the archaic way the company is run... They are great up until they are scared the MD will shoot them down or be in a 'mood'.. then they are most likely to go against you to 'save their own'. Take your hat off to Conor as his pockets must be absolutely bulging, same as the management team but at what cost to the principles of the company and staff

Cons

the company is so unethical and morally floored its a running joke in the office.. The sexism and racism from senior management down to trainees is unfathomable and if anybody who actually gives out the 'top companies to work for' awards looked into the moral of staff working then serious questions would be raised. They run the company from the same model as a decade ago, albeit they make a few positive changes but then hold it against you and withdraw privileges almost to restore equilibrium. They epitomise the modern culture of social media where they post all these wonderful pictures, videos, events and charity work to make it look like the most beautiful place to work however the staff are not priority and no one really cares how you get on as long as you are hitting the most backward and unproductive targets. They bring in managers who have 'experience' but clearly have conned their way through careers and would provide less intelligence, class and grace then a ogre from Harry Potter all in all the best parts of the company are the employees within it who get mistreated and miss managed.. the only reason they are still their is through being brainwashed into believing it is the best recruitment company to work for... even the scooters, swanky new office and No, 10 Downing Street meeting room cant cover the mould seeping through the company You are tricked into all these great benefits and commission when really you work as hard as you do there you would achieve much better anywhere else... to achieve an okay/average salary in recruitment terms you have to be prepared to work 50+ hours a week absolute minimum.... I can assure you as can most people who have left there is a lot easier ways to make money The company is the Arsenal of Recruitment companies, once great and enjoyable however run the same way for too long and true quality is sacrificed for new stadium (office) and figures... some of the staff they have brought in are truly laughable...

Pros

- Some friendly people working there, music in the office, average incentives, good training providing, followed by useless on the desk training with lazy trainers who do nothing but sit there on the phone and write the same feedback on review forms.

Cons

Let me start by giving you my background, fresh grad out of uni sold the dream about recruitment by the internal consultant at the time and here I am a few weeks later sitting on a cold desk pulling leads and cold calling clients - that really wasn't the bad bit. I was a successful consultant at RocSearch and left as a Senior Consultant simply because I was tired of all the crap that came with the RocSearch as a company rather than the low points of actually doing the job. Recruitment is tough but lets face it anyone can do it and be pretty good at. However, if you want to make a career out it then AVOID RocSearch. I started with a bunch of great recruiters some seniors and some trainees and after 4 months I was the only one in the team remaining due to the experienced guys moving on to better firms and a bunch of unfair dismissals, I kept count and saw 20 people in the course of 8 months get fired or leave your left thinking when is it going to be my turn? There are so many cons to Roc to name a few, the ridiculous expectations in KPIs (some managers even telling consultants to "hit them for the sake of it"), the need to work late nights and weekends to impress staff, hitting stupid call times a day and bleeding clients for their money ensuring they relationships will never be built.. BUT, the worst thing about Roc is the IGNORANT Management, right up to the egotistical CEO who comes into the office occasionally in hopes to strike fear into his brain-dead business managers, quite comical really. They micro-manage you, talk down to you and at you and never a conversation with you, you are embarrassed in front of the office for mistakes you make and pretty much treated like a child, you want to work in a mature environment? Dont even bother interviewing at RocSearch, take it from an ex-successful consultant.

Thank you for submitting your feedback and sharing your thoughts. We’re sorry to hear you had a negative experience and take on board all the comments you’ve made. The KPIs we set for our consultants can seem rigid and really daunting, but time and again this has proven to be a successful way of achieving optimum productivity, in order to hit targets and be consistently successful. We have a clear career progression path in place for all consultants and thresholds to hit in order to achieve promotion, so we’ll make sure this is communicated clearly to all our employees.

Pros

Fun Atmosphere (If you fit in) Beer Fridge Training Team

Cons

Young management - 0 Experience Have a problem? No point talking about it because you'll just get a black mark against you for being outspoken People are bullyed out if they don't fit in Part of your induction in your first week is too leave a glassdoor review....not really a true representation of the company Expectations to work on weekends if something comes in, frowned upon if you leave dead on 6pm
