I worked at Rolls-Royce Motor Cars full-time (Less than a year)

      Pros

Great location and great people to work with. Most employees are proud of the brand as a whole and they're also hardcore petrol-heads, so if you like cars you-ll fit right in.

      Cons

The company seemed to me a bit like an "ancient startup". There were boatloads of undefined processes and people that had no clue what they were doing, yet it seemed impossible to change anything or advance in any way.

      Advice to Management

Let people be more creative in their approach, set the bar higher and fire people who are dragging their feet and hold everyone else back.

I have been working at Rolls-Royce Motor Cars

      Pros

Excellent benefits & fantastic working environment, with a chance to travel & networking within BMW. Opportunity to take a Rolls Royce car home for a night or even a weekend

      Cons

It's hard work, no question. if you think you can take it easy then this company isn't for you. Work life balance can be an issue during launch phases. But that's like any successful manufacturing company

      Advice to Management

        I worked at Rolls-Royce Motor Cars full-time

        Pros

Great opportunity to work with people across different industries and backgrounds. Extremely friendly co-workers.

        Cons

The experience you get depends vastly on the actual role you work in. However, upon being successfully interviewed, it is most likely you will be assigned a role according to the impression you have left with the recruiting managers.

I have been working at Rolls-Royce Motor Cars full-time for more than 3 years

        Pros

Fantastic people, great product and a brilliant location base. As the only HQ of the business, it's the hub of all departments - great for networking & learning things about fields other than your own.

        Cons

The lack of windows in the office space! In winter you sometimes get to see no daylight if you're office based...

        Advice to Management
