Pros

-The people are amazing. You get to work with incredibly talented individuals. -Catered lunch on Mondays -Lots of good dogs

Cons

-Hundreds of unpaid, uncompensated hours of overtime during crunch (which is most of the time). People are told they can take time off with the overtime they accrue, but given that it's 200+ hours per person, this is impossible to do -Ridiculously low pay (especially considering the unpaid overtime. When you average it out, artists were making close to minimum wage) -Production failed to manage schedules properly, resulting in terrible crunch. We also had lots of problems with communication, which only made the issue worse. Higher level decision makers didn't make up their mind or review work on time, resulting in a lot of lost time redoing work. Overall, management in the animation department made this a horrible experience for the artists who were left working late because of management's mistakes. -Complete lack of respect for artists' time and health. You're expected to crunch and you're expected to do it for free, and if you don't then good riddance. -Temp employees were given false information like a carrot on a stick. They were promised an evaluation and the possibility of converting to permanent employees after 90 days, but when the time came and they asked questions, no one seemed to have any answers except for "ask again next month/ask again at the beginning of next quarter" until they were told they weren't needed anymore. Now there are dozens of people out there losing money and having to break their leases, all without any severance because they worked as temps for over a year. -How hard you work and how much you contribute has no effect on whether or not you will have a job at the end of production, taking away all incentive to try in the first place -"Cockbite of the Month" Awards are essentially given to people as a reward for crunching/staying late

Pros

There are tons of pros like lunch Mondays but it's mostly small things that don't offer all that much to the bigger picture

Cons

The company is just dead in the water, everyday something is on fire and needs doing but 5 other important things need to be ignored for meetings so someone can tell you about their time off. Don't join this company at this point, it stopped being worth it a year ago.
