Pros
Great crew Amazing 5-3 roster Great experience to take into any job Built a great network
Cons
Take more money off you for calling in sick than you actually earn in a day. Got charged almost £200 for two sick days Crew control literally treat you like a work/slave-horse. Dont care about your wellbeing until you start calling in sick because you’re fatigued, then they take huge amounts out of your pay. Minimum rest almost every day, i’m back at the airport less than 12 hours after leaving, I only live 30 minutes away.

Pros
Stable roster pattern 5on 3 off, you learn it a month before
Cons
The roster can change on short notice, and standby time to get to the airport is only 1 hour Bad management and cheap CEO You receive the basic salary in the UK is 12,000 (that is including sales and flight hours) Maximum flight hours in high season and low hours in low season They don't consider your preferences for annual leave and give you what's convenient for them When you call in sick you get shamed and if you call more than 2-3 times you might get a warning or have to go to a hearing with the base supervisor (had to fly with food poisoning and fever because of that which is dangerous for me and everyone flying with me) A good amount of colleagues are lazy and gossip is spread very quickly. High turnover of the crew because why would they stay. Cabin managers might steal your sales commission, and they get promoted very quickly even if they don't have enough experience (safety risk). That means you have a lot of cabin supervisors that don't know how to manage the rest of the crew, are arrogant, and abuse their power.
