    Neutral Outlook

I have been working at SHARP full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Great place to work, fast moving

    Cons

  2. "Nice people, but over-strong influence from parent company."

    I worked at SHARP full-time

    Pros

Friendly working environment, knowledgeable co-workers, supportive HR. Perks included gym membership, free coffee and being within walking distance of Bracknell town centre (some might consider that a 'con'!).

    Cons

Projects were almost all assigned from parent company in Japan, and there was little opportunity to influence designs. Latterly, such projects were hard to come by, so there wasn't much to do.

    Advice to Management

Strictly applying Japanese working culture does not engender 'good will' from employees; flexibility does.
