    Pros

Some staff are good to be around.

    Cons

Too many middle management that shouldn't be there. Overlooked in favour of faces that fit rather than ability

Don't spend 9 months telling people how much money you made, then tell them there are 0 bonuses

I have been working at SS&C full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Hard to find any, morale is non existent here

    Cons

SS&C bought out the company I work for a year ago.

Since then we have increased our margins, cut our costs and the work load on staff has increased.

We have just been rewarded for all this huge turnaround with a 0% pay rise across the entire company, the first time it has ever happened here.

    Advice to Management

If you're going to give a zero percent pay rise, probably best not to spend the preceding 9 months telling everyone in company meetings how much more profit we are making....

    Pros

Great immediate team. Good office environment. Fast growing company that rewards those that buy into the vision and work towards the common goal.

    Cons

Some SS&C products acquired through acquisitions compete with each other. Sometimes we're working against each other to the detriment of the company.

    Advice to Management

Need a better business model with clearer and enforceable sales rules of engagement.
