    Trains are cause issues getting to work if you are in the cobham office

    Great people, good training budget, good work life balance

    Cons

    Very political environment, difficult to increase salary. Bell curve performance measures. High turnover of staff.

    People first, focus on internally profession rather than hiring from outside

    Low bonus, small desks, Xmas party only for employees, partners not allowed

    most managers are OK, some need to improve people skills

    Good valued people
    Colleagues support each other
    Job security is reasonable.

    Cons

    Lack of management hierarchy
    Disorganised product support
    Lack of product development
    Training for staff is very poor
    Lack of career progression
    Bonus system is very poor
    Macro-management results in poor decisions being implemented

    Advice to Management

    Train your staff on the various products you have better!
    Pay better bonuses
    Organise more team social events

    I have been working at SS&C full-time

    Pros

    Great immediate team. Good office environment. Fast growing company that rewards those that buy into the vision and work towards the common goal.

    Cons

    Some SS&C products acquired through acquisitions compete with each other. Sometimes we're working against each other to the detriment of the company.

    Advice to Management

    Need a better business model with clearer and enforceable sales rules of engagement.

    Pros

    Useful to learn how a business should NOT be run, but that's not much. Autonomous to some extent, though you could read that as zero strategy.

    Cons

    Utterly bewildering senior management.
    Zero investment in people.
    Never learn from huge mistakes.
    Clients are NOT their priority.
    Never look beyond the quarter.

    Advice to Management

    Where do you start?! Resign.

    Friendly environment and managers , no restriction on workload , flexibility to work from any location in case of emergencies, Frequent travel , events and perks , good benefits in the UK office

    Cons

    Competitive Salary but below average than the actual market value , lack of motivation in career progression.

    Advice to Management

    Yearly bonuses should also be included in the contracts

    Pros

    Nice people working within the organisation, who all seem to agree how bad senior management are.

    Cons

    Terrible senior management, only think of themselves, not the staff or clients. Growth only through acquisitions, no real investment in products, unhappy client base, large staff turnover.

    Invest in your products, respect your client base
