Pros
Some great people work there.
Cons
Customer service staff are worked and treated like robots ('robots' is putting it politely) to meet ridiculous sales targets despite not working in a sales role and being in the middle of a global pandemic. It feels embarrassing pushing sales of products that customers do not need onto them , when they have called in for help and are telling you how worried they are about their businesses in the current climate. The pressure placed is immense with no regard for staff mental health, whilst there are regular 'Your Voice' surveys sent around no change is ever made. The voices of those working with the customer service roles go unheard, when plucking up the courage to speak to management every struggle is dismissed and rather than being supported you are viewed as a problem. There has been no effort made at all within the customer service job to make things any better for people during the WFH period. Sage was a much better place when the focus was on actually helping the customer rather than sales, leave that to the sales team.

Pros
Sage has grown an incredibly positive culture in a short period of time, and they constantly aim to understand the needs of employees and react to them. Continuous improvement is the aim, and I'm genuinely excited to see what height we can reach. We employ great people who are passionate about what they do, have a great mindset, and empower them to excel. The Sage values are truly reflected in the internal behaviours and attitude of colleagues. Managers are supported, people are developed, and good is rewarded. On top of all this, Sage offers a good work-life balance and a generous salary and rewards. Sage cares about colleagues feeling a sense of belonging, and is genuinely passionate about diversity and inclusion. Colleagues are so proud of Sage for it's Covid response. Feeling safe and under no pressure to go back into an unsafe environment is priceless in current times. Our CEO is genuine and honest and this filters through the company.
Cons
There is of course room for improvement in some areas but we have evidence that Sage listens, and Sage reacts to what it hears. Budgets for travel can be limiting and similarly lack of budget for 3rd party systems means our internal systems can be outdated making administrative tasks cumbersome, There are hints of the old culture, with decision making still tending to be hierarchy driven rather than data driven, but this is improving as I write.

Pros
Careful consideration given to the needs of customers and employees during Covid has been outstanding, with no pressure to go back into the office until it is totally safe to do so. Opportunities are everywhere for career and personal development, self starters who can see how to make things better thrive, and more so when surrounded by similar like mindedness This is one of the best places I've worked. Great people, everyone at the top of their game encouraging and supporting each other to succeed.

Pros
Some great people in the team I work in all very hear working. Some great benefits with access to a good pension scheme, health benefits. There was good support during Covid-19 - moving from office-based to home-based in days. Also good support with a generous working from home allowance.
Cons
Sage are always pushing for positive reviews on glassdoor. Sage is currently restructuring into a smaller core of itself. The innovation that made Sage a great has gone Management talks about being a great SAAS company but the Company is out of touch with its user base and competition.
