I have been working at Sagentia full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Nice colleagues, extremely intelligent people and interesting projects.

    Cons

Totally draconian in nature. Forced into the office on 1st June 2020 even though employees can fully wfh. Totally against government guidelines and exposing people to unnecessary risk, employees not even respected enough to be given valid reason, just told to do it.

    Current Employee - Anonymous Employee

I have been working at Sagentia full-time for more than 10 years

    Pros

I've been with the company quite a long time. For me there has always been a steady stream of interesting new opportunities in some very diverse areas. There are a lot of very bright people which can make it a stimulating environment

    Cons

There is an unenlightened and inflexible attitude to working hours that can be very frustrating. More trust needs to be shown.

  10. "Interesting work, great people"

    4.0
Current Employee - Anonymous Employee in Harston, England
    Recommends

I have been working at Sagentia full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

Projects are varied, usually challenging, and usually interesting. Colleagues are great people; they're happy to explain things, chat about their work, poke fun at the sillier projects... The Harston site is beautiful, especially in spring and summer. Offices are pleasant; open plan but rarely disruptively noisy. Socials and training are there, especially if you're enthusiastic.

    Cons

Group exec are mostly distant and seem more interested in acquisitions than existing business. Publicly-limited nature of company means that shareholder value is more important than employee satisfaction.
