I have been working at Saint-Gobain full-time for less than a year

    Pros

Great business, Great people and Great new growth strategy. The first six months have been a real eye opener to how this business works and how many brands are involved and how they come together. The people are passionate and very customer focused. ive been lucky enough to have been given all the support needed from my colleages in order to get up to speed with the day to day operation of this branch.

    Cons

More time needed for learning on specific products and processes. New ICON system seems to be taking time to settle.

    Advice to Management

My view is from what I have seen. Extra support needed for employees that are struggling to adapt to change. take the time to listen and share the concerns of employees with the wider business.

I worked at Saint-Gobain full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

Some wonderful people, dedicated, intelligent, creative and passionate. Strong safety culture.

    Cons

Bizarre hierarchy beyond the business unit level. Centrally mandated set of business ‘rules’ that are unworkable and unsupported. Untrustworthy senior management. Completely fails with achieving their own rhetoric of promoting gender diversity or respecting local laws, specifically Gender Discrimination laws.

    Advice to Management

Simply deeds not words Saint-Gobain. Live by the Principles of Conduct and Action.
