I have been working at Salesforce full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

    - Company Doing Well - Good Products - Always Innovating

    Cons

    - We do not live by the rules and values we portray to the world unfortunately - Constantly hiring new sales reps, with existing sales reps having fewer and fewer accounts. - The vast majority of sales reps do not reach their quota (Its good business that they don't). - Promotions only occur for those that have a friendly relationship with senior management, if you're not in the inner circle don't waste your time....

    Advice to Management

    - Put your employees first before profits - Simple Formula, sales execs do not reach quota = sales exec leave company - Leadership to be more consistent, cut the bias, unprofessionalism behaviour that occurs every day. Treat all employees equally and offer everyone the same opportunities regardless of their personality and your preferences.

Great company, great culture with incredible opportunities to grow personally and professionally. A place people can spend time working on amazing projects, making friends for life however...

    Cons

People promoted into positions of leadership who shouldn't be in those roles, have no ethical boundaries, no human skills, that can make it working at Salesforce frustrating and difficult mentally. People in VP of EMEA Engineering positions who are self-promoting bully's, taking credit for other peoples work to promote their own brand, using derogatory language to describe colleagues in passing conversations. If those...

    Pros

Salesforce gives a lot to their employees - good salary, benefits, free snack & drinks, volunteer days and lots of interesting events.

    Cons

Team Manager are sometimes not a fit for the role - don't understand the market they're managing or speak the language of the country they're managing. On the outside they are living the Ohana culture but on the inside there is not always Ohana. When working in sales for example there is a lo of pressure and too many changes for different processes. Not everybody get's a chance to work here. For example if you have...

    Pros

    - Get to work with some super smart people, however, this talent pool is slowly dwindling. - Free food and drinks. - Can be flexible with working hours - as longs as your results are there. - Excellent product/solution which brings amazing value to the customers - hence amazing customer advocacy. - Salesforce 1 London and Dreamforce is a flagship event and great to be part of. - If you can make it here, it's...

    Advice to Management

Over the past few years, I have seen a number colleagues taken ill due to stress-related sickness. In my opinion, this has been down to poor mid-level management who have bred a culture of mistrust and bad competitive focus. My advice would be to take action over this ASAP, as Salesforce is still a fantastic company and the future is bright of this is sorted out.

I have been working at Salesforce full-time for more than 10 years

    Pros

I have been at Salesforce in the UK for 10 years. I am a little biased but, for me, the highlights for me include: - Leadership and Vision - our technology, business and philanthropy models continue to transform the industry. Being in the sweet spot of customer, mobile and social - are fortunate enough to be CEO relevant across all sectors. - Growth - being at a company that grows at our pace is immensely exciting. It...

I have never worked with a more talented team. Many companies struggle with phenomenal growth, but the entire SteelBrick team has thrived with our growth. It is exciting, fast paced and great fun. 2 years here and I can honestly say that I still look forward to work every day.

    Cons
