    Pros

    Decent Salary, excellent healthcare (can't stress enough how good the healthcare insurance is)

    Cons

    Anything of consequence is controlled from Korea. Your job hangs on internal company politics in Korea. Data and credit flows one way - if you do a good job you will not get any credit, but if Korea screws up or can't get something to work in your proposal, you will face the music. Management is very risk averse - they want groundbreaking research results with zero failure - almost impossible by design.

    - Job security - Great colleagues - Everyone is ready to help - Frequent training and inter team knowledge sharing - Good perks like food allowance, 401k, on site gym, after work sports

    Cons

    - Highly dependent on Korean headquarters - If you are fresh in market, you might feel you are not learning as much as you should - Less challenges - Code review is not as strict as it should be - No shares since it is not in US market

    Great benefits. Best insurance, subsidized meals, outstanding gym, market leader, and tremendous financial strength.

    Cons

    Headquarters (South Korea) runs the show. A lot of headquarters people in the US. At times can be arrogant.
