I have been working at Sanofi Genzyme full-time

    Pros

    Work like balance is reasonable

    Cons

HR weak, process driven, no common sense applied to decisions. No internal development

    Advice to Management

Stan up and run the business rather than HR driven that are not transparent at all.

I worked at Sanofi Genzyme full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

The culture at Genzyme particularly in its early years was fluid and cooperative. A great place to work for all concerned.

    Cons

I can't really think of any. It evolved into a more regulated environment but that was essential to protect the patients taking its important medicines.

    Advice to Management

None now as the company was acquired by Sanofi at the time I left. Many of those who worked there have fond memories of a positive career and personal experience.

I have been working at Sanofi Genzyme full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Strong portfolio - very good outlook. Should be a stable organization for a long time. Sanofi’s strongest business unit. Genzyme is a respected name in the industry.

    Cons

Not a welcoming culture for those who were not original Genzyme. Functional organization is inefficient - doesn’t appear well thought out. Support functions are under-resourced. This is well known but progress has been extremely slow.
