I have been working at Sapient full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Good array of clientele. Smart employees. Decent work life balance.

    Cons

The organisation is struggling to find its identity post Razorfish merger. Many are stuck in the advertising model. Sapient is stuck in a limbo of pseudo-rockstar creative directors (who know nothing about technological practicalities) & corporate consultants (who do not understand creativity). This puts them in a precarious position with constant infighting and miscommunication.

    Advice to Management

You need more cross-disciplinary & open minded practitioners who understand both tech & design, if you wish to pride yourselves as a digital transformation agency.

    Pros

A great place for growth - if you're willing to learn as you go, be flexible and be thrown into the deep end, you'll love it.

    Cons

Some strong managers; some not so strong managers. Your development and opportunity to grow will depend on your manager and the work you do.

    I worked at Sapient full-time

    Pros

Met some very talented people. The pace at which the business moves is fast and you learn quickly.

    Cons

The People teams were treated much worse than those in the agencies, I felt very uncomfortable about this.

    Advice to Management

Have more respect for the people that work in the People teams.
