I worked at Saudi Aramco full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Excellent salary and housing camp. Family feel home in the campً. Regret to leave the company as made lots of friends and community activity there

    Cons

Saudization (meaning giving priority for Saudis for open and existing jobs over Expats) cratered a culture of looking down to Expats as being too expensive and disposable. No fairness to Expats in annual job appraisals.

I worked at Saudi Aramco for less than a year

    Pros

The lead project engineer and SR. project engineer were very helpful and willing to "take you under their wings".

    Cons

Lack of direct involvement to projects. Mostly likely, underestimating the interns' abilities. And, the department were not aware were (interns) were coming.

    Advice to Management

Better coordination between HR and departments and have a set plan and involvement for the interns (not just e-learning)
