I worked at Saudi Aramco full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

    - health care is good - you can leave work at 4. Any extra work can be demanded as overtime (sometimes)

    Cons

    - horrible pay , especially now for eastern expats - general degratory attitude of local managers and staff towards expats in general and eastern expats in particular - hostile locals especially in the face of new anti expat propaganda - work in repetitive. Problems are never fixed due to lack of time or lack of interest by maintenance staff - no career progression. You will be constantly overlooked for not being a saudi for most trainings. - with the current inflation in saudi, you pay quickly becomes inadequate
