I have been working at Servest part-time

    Pros

Acceptable hours due to have a baby.

    Cons

Terrible management, clicky, area is a mess

    Advice to Management

I have worked for Interserve and then servest for 7 years and I will be leaving this company with extremely bad reviews! The Merseyside area for WilliamHill is the worst I have ever seen, the management is horrendous and very ‘clicky’ they cut corners for everything and if something is not done about it you will loose your WilliamHill contract. The treatment from higher management is disgusting.

I have been working at Servest full-time

    Pros

Fast track into management if you live in Bury St Edmunds and enjoy attending/ hosting dinner parties.

    Cons

Too many to list here and I’m not prepared to name individuals,.....yet. I sincerely hope you’re thoroughly disliking dancing to Atalian’s tune. Tick tock, tick tock....

    Advice to Management

    There’s no ‘I’ in team.

    Pros

What pros - I can't think of a single one!

    Cons

No ethos, no values, no passion, no team culture, no respect, no honest and open communication - you are not even a number at this place.

    Advice to Management

Know your employees skill set and value loyalty - not nice being made to feel under valued!

I have been working at Servest part-time

    Pros

    None that I know of

    Cons

Can't pay right wages can't contact anybody to resolve issues. Total incompetent company

    Advice to Management

Make sure your employees are paid right and make it easier to contact relevant departments when issues over pay arise and not have to go through managers all the time as they have numerous things to deal with.

I have been working at Servest full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Decent company car (only because it’s a hire car)
Easy to order stock for staff
    Regaining expenses

    Cons

Unrealistic expectations, no work/life balance. I find myself on the road from 5.30am walking in the door at 6.00pm most days to then pick up my laptop to continue with admin work until around 9-10pm.

Not left alone on a weekend, expected to deal with any issues that arise, and to be on call 7days a week for a low paid salary, no breathing space. Chased if not dealt with even on a day off.

Being micro managed, every move being watched, lots of judgement passed behind your back, feel on edge all the time. Feel like always having to cover my back with a paper trail, as if your face doesn’t fit they’ll get rid of you.

    Always pay issues with staff.

    Advice to Management

It’s actually illegal to work 7 days a week yet it’s expected from all levels, and to have at least an 11 hour rest period.
