Pros

Definite potential to be a great organisation.

Cons

When I started at SPG, the company was operated by 6 founders, all dentists. Their goal was to make life changing dental implants more affordable whilst creating a fantastic career growth opportunity for dentists. Over my time there these ideals shifted toward typical corporate greed as some of the original partners were pushed out, outside funding was sought, and turnover exploded.

Pros

The company's original core values were something I believed in and was passionate about. The company wanted to ensure affordability to all patients: the company was more focused on the patient instead of corporate greed. That has since changed as they hire more people and adapt more policies from a large competitor.

Cons

Central team is very reactive when you are not on pace to make goal. They put more focus on ChatGBT inspirational messages and GIFs in that chat than helping consultants achieve their goals. The only time I felt valued while working for this company was when I was collecting money. Their insurance plans (company benefits) are unaffordable and they do not match 401k. There is also no room for growth - they hire management and central team members from a large competitor versus hiring from within. If you like complacency, this is for you.

Mini Clearchoice with lower pay

Pros

Would not recommend to anyone

Cons

Please be advised that for those transitioning from ClearChoice, the bonus structure is significantly different and overall earning potential is much lower. Bonuses are not calculated based on total collections from the first dollar; instead, they begin only after a minimum break-even threshold is met. This threshold can start around $150,000 or higher. No employer contribution to 401k, what you personally contribute is what you save Benefits are extremely expensive You will be directed to X-ray patients without a licensed provider High turnover company wide
