Pros

Not many but you do get a paycheck. New management in sales and marketing have tried to improve things but they get push back from the family at every turn.

Cons

It doesn't take being here long to see the route of many issues Please read this list before even thinking of applying for a job here: 1. Bonuses are NOT guaranteed. And even if you do get one there is no announcement or reasoning behind the number they give you. My first few weeks they gave bonuses and literally just left them on people's desks. No email and no announcement at all. 2. They underpay and overwork women. Pretty sad since the family has gotten rich off of women. Women's teams are lean and men's team's are overstaffed. 3. Extremely insecure leadership - yes I am talking about the family. Some family are upset with recent changes. They also will always find a scapegoat for company issues and never take responsibility. They blame new people for the recent ad but put pressure on everybody to get white consumers daily. 4. Sexism. Women don't move up here. No promotions in the last 2 years for women and I have never heard of a black woman being promoted. The only women in senior positions are family. 5. Extremely secretive culture. Hide information and reasons for changing anything. What do you have to hide? Even the consumers can see you are changing formulas. 6. They are not honest about job functions. Everyone I have spoken to says they were misled in the interview process. Hired for one job but within a month they give you a ton more responsibilities. They will tell you we are a family. But it is very evident that they are family and you are just here to make them richer. 7. Horrible benefits. Don't get sick because most doctors don't take your insurance. Pregnant - save up you only get a few weeks. 8. They only care about money. They would rather have an employee almost kill themselves or get severe health issues for a chance to get more shelf space. Believe me it's happening. The number of doctors appointments I watch people go to shocks me. 9. This is not a natural company. The founders and family all drive big gas guzzlers. Kitchen literally has styrofoam and they don't recycle. Product labels and formulas change constantly. Confusion over what label is the latest and what formula. Innovation team doesn't even know whats going on! Again its secretive. 10. HR is like a leaky faucet. Wanna know how so many people know about women being underpaid? They leak salaries. Some people have used HR as their personal employment agency to hire uneducated and under experienced staff but let go of hardworking staff for no reason. Oh did I mention the CEO's wife runs HR. 11.Constantly say we don't want people to leave but do things to make them leave. No help. No time to answer or prepare any proper business plans. Decisions and products decided on a whim just to satisfy senior management's speed to market approach. Oh and they constantly push sales to increase their number and get more shelf space but can't even ship the products they have. To all current employees if you truly value your career you should be looking to exit this sinking ship. People openly take recruiter calls and interviews in the office. Things are so bad competitors email employees directly at work.

Pros

Nothing, I tried to honestly find something but I can't even come up with one single pro

Cons

Absolutely everything, horrible working conditions, the building is constantly under construction. and there facilities were atrocious. You're expected to put in 10-12 hour days minimum with no appreciation from management. Outrageous expectations not based in fact. Complete disregard for safety and overall hygiene. Cramped working environments for everyone. So as my title says, run away! I would not even apply for a job there.

Shady shady shady

Pros

None really none. Oh people get paid even if they do have errors in your paycheck and underpay women and long term employees. HR practices are so sloppy it could be easy to file a grievance with the better business bureau

Cons

Just look beneath the surface and see shady and illegal activity and work conditions on a weekly basis. Constantly changing IL's because they are getting called out about ingredients and lying about claims Competitors and independent labs are testing the formulas and seeing that the brands lie about ingredients Dirty factory I can't believe they have not been sited for filling products in such unsanitary conditions All they care about is money. Literally churn out untested and unstable formulas just to get more placement on shelves and meet a number for the year. Fake smiles from family who prefer a chosen few that work like indentured servants without complaining. Treat employees who helped build the company like crap. Other employees see this and say why should we stay. Entire teams want to quit because they feel they are participating in a lie!
