Pros

Eh there aren't too many

Cons

I just started here not long ago and already dread going. The training started me off on the wrong foot and made me dislike the experience as a whole. They need to change things.

Pros

Good money and cool Clients

Cons

Don’t do it. Turn over is bad with receptionists, stylists, and management. Training has gone down hill and even some of the worst cuts are leaving because owners are terrified to run short. The oldest store has 3 stylists looking to leave and moms are consistently threatened to be fired if they can’t work due to sick children.

Pros

Clients/tips I have met some awesome coworkers

Cons

Don’t waste your time, once you build your books up, you make so much more in tips than you do hourly(even after hitting max percentage booked) you don’t get holidays off…yes, you don’t get holidays off! She will close on holidays BUT you make that day up on one of your days off..so you still work 40 days that week and only have two days off. They pick and choose rules by locations, the store manager is left to choose what rules they want to enforce, the owner loves to micromanage everything. During your “training” basically the entire handbook is left out, she only cares about picking out every single flaw of your haircut and not actually training you on what you should be doing for each and every client. They require you to request off at least 3 weeks in advance but yet they don’t even post next weeks schedule until mid to end of the current week, so absolutely no way of making plans or live a normal life. You think by now with such horrible turn over, maybe they would step back and see something, or a ALOT should probably change..maybe focus on the employees you have, compromise to at least try and keep them.
